Like most websites, dropletbrands.com uses cookies — small text files your browser stores so we can remember things between page loads. This page explains which cookies we use and why.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a tiny file (a few bytes) the website sends to your browser. Your browser stores it and sends it back next time you visit. They're what makes “remember me”, shopping carts, and logged-in sessions work.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary (no consent required)
- Session cookies — keep your shopping cart and form-in-progress data alive between page loads. Deleted when you close your browser.
- Security cookies — protect form submissions from CSRF attacks.
These are essential for the site to work. We don't need your consent for them under Dutch cookie law (Telecommunicatiewet art. 11.7a).
Functional (no consent required)
- Preferences — language, viewed-product history, design-tool state.
Analytics
We don't currently run any third-party analytics on this site. If we add them later (e.g. Plausible, PostHog, or GA4), we'll update this page and add a consent banner where required.
Marketing
We don't use marketing or advertising cookies, and we don't share data with ad networks.
3. Third-party cookies
The website may load cookies from these third parties:
- YouTube — if we embed a product or process video on a page, YouTube may set cookies when the video loads. We use privacy-enhanced mode where possible.
- Cloudflare — our CDN sets cookies that help route traffic and block abuse.
4. Controlling cookies
You can:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features (like the cart) will stop working if you do.
- Use private/incognito browsing — most cookies disappear when you close the window.
5. Changes to this policy
We'll update this page whenever we add or remove cookies. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest change.
